9007 Kits and Bulbs

Many vehicle manufacturers use 9007 (also known as HB5) bulbs when their vehicle uses a compact light housing. Halogen 9007 bulbs serve as high and low beams. Likewise we offer 2 types of 9007 HID conversion kits. The kits below offer HID low beams and no high beams.

A true dual-HID conversion kit with HID lows and HID highs is available for the 9007 bulb type here.

To check what kit you will need for your car, please visit Sylvania's bulb replacement guide.

If you have a daytime running light (DRL) system on your low beams, you will need to disable it or bypass it by tapping another 12v source like a parking light. Disabling a DRL system is different for every vehicle. To find information for your particular vehicle please browse LightsOut.org.

All MobileHID conversion kits come with the following:

  2 Bulbs
  2 Ballasts
  1 Pack of zip ties
2 wire connections for ballast hookups
  1 Set of instructions

Consumer note: There are many brands that do not offer safe installation equipment. These inferior HID conversion kits connect directly to your factory wires and put you at risk of damaging your electrical system since HID systems require a single moment of 23,000 volts to ignite. Unless a vehicle has an HID system from the factory, the factory electrical harness is not designed for this level of power which can result in flickering of your lights strobing which can negatively affect the long term usage of your bulbs and ballasts.

If you purchased a kit elsewhere and did not get a harness, protect your vehicle and purchase a harness today. These harnesses are UNIVERSAL and will fit 90% of the ballasts on the market.

Don't believe you need a harness? Check out this McCulloch vendor giving instructions on how to fabricate a relay harness due to multiple problems caused by not having one..

Pick up a harness today and save your electrical system.
